Five cases of coronavirus now reported in Arizona

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) –The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) announced on Sunday one of the two “presumptive positive” coronavirus cases in Arizona is a member of the American Leadership Academy, Ironwood K-12 community in Queen Creek. The patient is reportedly fully recovered from the virus. The public health department believes the risk on campus is very low since the person wasn't there while ill.

Saturday morning, the new numbers were released that indicated the two new “presumptive positive” coronavirus cases in our state. ADHS said that their department and Pinal County Public Health Department are currently investigating the cases. The ages and genders of the patients are unknown. ADHS said the two new cases are both in the same household as another patient, a woman in her 40s who is currently in stable condition in the hospital, according to Pinal County health officials.
